CREATING COMMUNITY
Welcome to The Western Gardener Blog.
Jericho Nursery is building and supporting an online community of participation for gardeners of the Western US. And, of course, we can’t do it without you…
With our unique climates, soil conditions and watering needs, we feel there’s plenty to talk about, as well as tips and tricks to pass on to others along the way. We hope you’ll join in and contribute your own gardening methods, ideas and questions.
Read through the articles and comments, then join in on the discussion and become a part of the Western Gardener Community. Go to any “recent post” (right sidebar) to find out what’s currently being talked about. You can then read the article and on through the comments thread below. And you can either leave your own thoughts on the topic (initiating a comment) or reply directly to a fellow blogger’s comment through the ‘Reply’ link associated with each individual comment.
We encourage you to come back often and post to the blog your thoughts, experiences and personal philosophies on gardening. We’re building a community where you can engage like-minded people who may just add a little something to your gardening knowledge, as well as gain something from your own gardening experience. And we appreciate you spreading the word to any of your friends and family who may share your passion for gardening. JOIN IN . . .
Feel free to direct your questions to Jericho Nursery through the blog. If Jericho staff doesn’t swoop in to respond, we hope someone from the community can help. If you have questions in need of a quick answer from Jericho staff, you can receive a more timely response through the email form on the Contact Us page.
A few things to be aware of as you join in on the Western Gardener Blog Community:
1. Only your first comment to the Blog will be held for moderation and approval. Once your initial comment has been approved, any future comments you post (throughout the blog) will appear immediately upon submission. We don t have the ability to moderate the blog 24/7, so after posting your first comment, we appreciate your patience on approvals.
2. Your email address will not be published, sold or used for marketing purposes. If we contact you through your registered email address, this would only be in the form of an invitation to opt-in to our newsletter mailing list for future announcements and promotions. We understand if you choose to decline, and you will not receive multiple invitations.
3. About the reCAPTCHA Spam-protection filter: Please fill in the reCAPTCHA before submitting your comments. This helps us control automated comment SPAM, and helps keep the reading of the comments thread true to the article and comments discussion.
